Teck Kee Fish Ball Soup Noodle 德记自制潮州鱼丸粉

This would be my favourite stall when I'm craving for some fish ball noodles soup, especially when I am feeling unwell and need something light to crank up my appetite. The owner of this store self-made this fishball with his own recipe making it unique in its own good way breaking away from the norm of artificial fishball taste that could be acquired from most of the stalls that I have tried.

They served the noodles ranging from rice vermicelli(Bihun), Yellow Mee and flat rice noodles(Kuey Teow) with foo zok (beancurd skin), sliced fish cake, fish balls and seaweeds.  The soup was nice and light, the pepper taste wasn't as overpowering making the soup really refreshing and addicting to be gulp with ease into my stomach leaving nothing behind but great reviews. The texture of the fishball doesn't look as Chewy but once you bite into it, the freshness of the fish with its bouncy feels to it definitely makes it more superior than an average fishball making it a perfect match for this dish.  Malaysians definitely can't live without chilli, the look of it seems spicy with its intimidating redness colour but never judge a book by its cover as this chilli was a little sour and not too spicy.  A hack to this Chilli that I would like to share would be, adding some adequate amount of soy sauce to the chilli, bringing it to a whole new level of savouriness.

Fish Ball Soup (Bihun)

As a soup lover, this was the first time for me to try out their dry version of Fish Ball Noodles, and the taste of it did surprise me.  The soy sauce they implemented into the noodles wasn't too heavy but just enough to bring out the taste of the noodle with the black soy sauce making it easy to slurp down as it's, without needing any enhancement of condiments but it's still not as great as the broth version of it.
Fish Ball Dry (Bihun+Mee)

One of the stalls located in Taman Muda Wai Sek Gai, it was pretty easy to be spotted.

This was the price list in Jan 2018.
