Kluang RailCoffee

Kluang is a small town and everyone visits this little traditional coffee house next to the railway.  This had become a must for both the locals and tourists.  I love the ambience here as it makes me feel that I am back to the old times.

Here comes to food, my friend recommended the nasi lemak, mee siam, toasted bun and coffee.  The coffee had a strong taste, it wasn't made of 3 in 1 but all handmade, I always love the coffee from kopitiam.

In the nasi lemak, there was a small piece of banana leaf wich used to wrap the sweet sambal.  The sambal was sweet so even for non-spicy lovers, trying out this sambal wouldn't bring you any harms.  Overall the nasi lemak was okay, but the portion is a little bit too small.

I wasn't lucky enough to try the mee siam, but the mee hoon kampung was not bad, but my friend said mee siam tasted better than the one we ordered, it was too packed and ran out of stock.  This mee hoon kampung cooked with the green chilli so it brought a little spice to the bihun.

MeeHoon Kampung
This toasted bun was one of the best sellers, almost every table ordered it, so it took a longer time to be served.  It cooked with charcoal and filled with kaya and butter, the typical combination for toast which could be found in every kopitiam in Malaysia.
